Cabinet Member for Enforcement and Community Safety
Councillor Ghani is responsible for community safety and enforcement including anti-social behaviour, environmental crime, noise nuisance, trading standards, and parking.
As part of this, Councillor Ghani oversees the Council’s flagship Private Landlord Licensing Scheme.
Councillor Ghani also leads on crime and safety issues for the Council, including CCTV in the borough, liaising with the Police and with a special focus on tackling serious youth violence, robbery, burglaries and domestic violence.
